We could not be prouder of our senior boys who turned out in strength to participate in the annual DARKNESS INTO LIGHT walk in aid of Pieta House. See Pieta House. Some 60 boys turned up from fourth, fifth and sixth years as well as 8 adults: teachers, SNAs and their friends.
All counted a sum of 480 Euro was collected on the day from Joeys, while a total of some 1200 € was raised between the combined efforts of the tree schools St Joseph’s, O’Connell School and Rosmini Community School.
The event was organised by the HSCL teacher Mr Michael Kilbride from OCS. Many thanks to Michael for his enthusiasm and hospitality and to all teachers and students who participated. Already we are looking forward to next year’s event!! Well done all!!
