FAO all parents, guardians, students and community,
We are delighted to say that work will commence on upgrading all of the windows in the older 1888 building from next week. This will include full refurbishment and refitting of all of the windows in this building. In the coming weeks, you may notice the building will have temporary covers where windows have been taken out for this work. School life will continue as normal (possibly with a little less daylight!) but it will greatly enhance the quality of the spaces in which the teachers and students are every day when complete. It is estimated this work will take approximately 5 weeks in the run up to Christmas.
I would like to thank all of the homes and students for your patience and resilience with the work that has been, and will be, ongoing to the school. I hope the fruits of this are already being seen in the students enjoyment of coming to school, and we are grateful for the cooperation of you and the wider community.
