On Wednesday 27th April the ERST network held its annual student conference in The Red Cow Hotel. This is the third or fourth time that St Joseph’s has been in attendance at this important event. The Programme for the day included: (i) Session 1: Sharing Good practice – Response: What are you doing in your school? (ii) Session 2: One Campaign for Change – Ardscoil na Mara, Tramore – Response What is your reaction to what you have heard? (iii) Session 3: An Approach to Advocacy – Tom Murray and UK students (iv) Lunch (v) You are Edmund Rice’s election agent. Organise the campaign. Posters/ slogans/ manifesto / what values will you stand for /what would you change / How will you get things done? (vi) In the light of what you have heard today, what do you think you can do in your schools?
