It is with great regret and sadness that we received the news that Vincent Kenny (Leaving Certificate 1968) passed away peacefully on 29 July 2015. Vincent was a very active member of the school’s PPU and served with distinction as President from 2010 to 2012. To anyone who knew Vincent well or indeed only met him on occasion the one word that springs to mind is “gentleman”. For Vincent truly was that. To his wife Claire, daughters Lesley and Niamh, grandchildren, extended family and friends, and his friends in the PPU, I wish on behalf of the school community here in Joey’s to extend our deepest sympathy. May Vincent Rest in Peace.
