Anybody driving along North Strand road will now be able to see phase 1 of our solar panel installation now on the rooftop! The panels are part of the Solar PV scheme and are used to reduce our energy consumption from the grid, make the school more energy green, and during the summer months be able to contribute the energy generated back.
Inside in the school, there will be a live display for students to see how much the panels are generating. This is in a main congestion area and students will be able to see each day the effect of daylight and learn more about sustainable energy.
