Parents’ Council

Message from Chairperson Ita Hennessey – September 2021

The Parents’ Council would like to welcome both new and returning students back to school. We hope they are very happy and have a great year ahead. We would also like to wish all school staff a safe and happy return to work. We look forward to working together and getting to know the new parent council members.

The school has a very active and vibrant Parents’ Association and Council. This is open to all parents/guardians of current students, and everyone is very welcome at any level of involvement they feel they can contribute. Below is a PDF of information useful to all parents, as well as contact email and names of current parent representatives on the Council.

The following are some of the activities in which Parents’ Council might be involved:

  • Arranging talks on topics of interest to parents, e.g. guest speaker on parenting/discipline etc.
  • Providing support/organisational input to major school events, e.g. graduations
  • Channeling parent’s views on school policy issues to the Principal/Board.
  • Organising Fund Raising Events for the school.
