It’s What Happens Outside the Classroom that truly makes a School
Extra Curricular Activities are an important part of life in Scoil Iósiaf. They provide pupils with a wide range of opportunities which complement the academic curriculum, allowing students to take advantage of all the facilities available to the school. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in these activities and this page is provided so that parents and pupils are aware of all that is on offer.
It is expected that students will give serious consideration to participation in one or more of these activities which are widely promoted in school life. Participation in sporting and extracurricular activities is regarded by the school as desirable for all pupils as it provides a means of complementing their academic and social development.
Participation is the most important factor in the holistic development of each student, however we also strive for success in any event we participate in. Whether it is in a sporting capacity, or a community event such as student mentoring, we promote that sense of commitment that is reflective of the best of our school ethos.
