Welcome Back to School

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are delighted to welcome all our students back for a new school year. A special welcome to our first-year families who are beginning their journey with us, we look forward to working with you in the years ahead. This week all students will receive their school journals, as well as free books provided under the School Book Scheme. We kindly ask parents/guardians to take a few minutes to read through the Code of Behaviour in the school journal with your child, and to sign it as agreement to our school policies.

This year, we are introducing a number of important changes and reminders:

  • Phone-Free Campus From day one, our school is a completely phone-free environment. Mobile phones are not permitted anywhere on the premises. We will be introducing secure pouches for students in the coming weeks, with an official launch day to follow, but this policy is effective immediately. Any students who have their phone out will have it put in the office until a parent/guardian collects it at the end of the day.
  • Hot School Meals – We continue to provide free hot meals for all students each day. If any student has any allergies please let us know so we can adapt the menu.
  • Lunchtime Policy – First and Second Year students must remain on the school premises during lunch. Students in Third Year, Transition Year, Fifth, and Sixth Year may leave, but must return promptly for their afternoon classes.
  • Uniform – School uniform must be worn every day. Students are required to wear all black shoes/runners and the official school jacket only.
  • City Connects – We are delighted to introduce City Connects, a new programme in our school delivering opportunities and supports to all students from 1st to 3rd Year.

Finally, a reminder that the first point of contact for parents is your son or daughter’s Year Head. Email contact details can be found on our school app and website.

We are excited for the year ahead and are confident it will be one filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities for every student. Thank you for your continued support in helping us create a positive and respectful school community.

Kind regards,

Alexandra Duane
