Christmas Message

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

As we approach the joyous season of Christmas, we would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the year gone by and to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member of the St Joseph’s Secondary school community for the commitment, care and positive spirit shown throughout the year.

2025 has been a year of learning, growth and many achievements. Events such as the Christmas Carol Service and Joey’s Christmas Markets last week beautifully captured the strong sense of community and Christmas spirit within our school. We are deeply grateful to our teachers and SNAs, whose dedication, professionalism and unwavering support for our students lie at the heart of all that we do.

To our students, we wish you the very best of luck in your exams this week. Thank you for the energy, kindness and determination you bring to St Joseph’s each day. We are especially proud of your efforts to support charitable initiatives this year. Their sense of empathy and social responsibility clearly reflect our Edmund Rice ethos and the true Joey’s spirit.

We would also like to extend a special word of thanks to Suzanne, our school secretary; Frank, our caretaker; and Danielle, our lunch lady. Their hard work, care and commitment ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school, and their contribution to the life of Joey’s is truly invaluable.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for your continued partnership, trust and support. As we look ahead to the Christmas holidays, we hope this well-deserved break brings rest, joy and time to spend with family and friends.

We wish everyone in our school community a very Happy Christmas filled with love, laughter and happiness for all. May 2026 bring new opportunities, good health and renewed energy.

Nollaig Shona agus Athbhliain Faoi Mhaise Daoibh!

Beir bua agus beannacht,
