We at Joey’s, along with hundreds of other schools in Ireland and many thousands around the world, are working together for a sustainable future for our much-polluted planet. The Transition Years, under the direction of their teacher/ tutor Mr Stack, worked towards earning the Green Flag for Travel over the past two years as a part of their coursework. Moreover, the school has attained the facility of the bike-shed (located behind the building) as a result of this ongoing sustained work.
Mr T. Quinlan, deputising for Mr Stack, accompanied the four second years pictured above to the Green Flag Award Ceremony at the Helix Theatre in DCU on Tuesday morning 23/05/2017.
