The TYs had their end-of-year trip at the start of this week. The group travelled to Lilliput Adventure Centre in Mullingar for an overnight stay, and by the time night fell on the first evening, the lads were well due some rest! They partook in activities such as canoeing, laser tag, bog swimming, orienteering, rock climbing, ‘crate-tower’ climbing and trampoline basketball.
Additionally, this trip also doubled as the final stage of the Gaisce award the students had been working toward all year. On arrival the group made the 10km bonding trek tha, along with the overnight, was part of the requirements. As a result, the lads who were on the trip will receive the Bronze Gaisce Award at the start of next term. Watch this space!
