The Board of Management would like to announce that Ciara McDonnell has been appointed as Principal for the school. Ms. McDonnell takes up the role from September 1st, 2024, succeeding the outgoing principal Seán Stack.
Ms. McDonnell has been a teacher in the school since 2016, and was in the role of Deputy Principal for the last year 2023/24. A native of Dublin, Ms. McDonnell has been a teacher of RE and History having graduated from Mater Dei (DCU) with a Bachelors and Masters degree.
She has also been a year head in the school for a number of years, and taken teams and groups in a number of sports and extra curriculars, most notably leading the school immersion trips to Zambia in 2019.
The Board of Management look forward to supporting the school community and Ms. McDonnell in her new role.
