This year, the school put a number of initiatives in place to improve aspects of student experience. One such initiative was the Attendance Drive. Weekly, monthly, termly and now yearly awards are in place to celebrate and encourage those who strive for improved attendance and punctuality. At the TY Graduation, Cesar Munoz was awarded with the Golden Badge of Attendance. His dedication to his learning and his unwaivering enthusiasm in activities meant that Cesar did not miss one day of his schooling.
The Golden Badge of Attendance highlights in a positive way the pillars of the Joey’s spirit and the support Cesar has experienced in this endeavour is testament to the dedication of our staff. Cesar has shown that through the lens of optimism, students can excel in what can often be considered difficult feats.
Year Head Ms. Dowdall and Principal Mr. Stack were thrilled to present this prestigious award to Cesar on the day of his TY Graduation and we look forward to the start of a great tradition. Congratulations to Cesar for being the first recipient of this honourable award.
